I tried and failed to get a clear photo of bumblebees visiting my various flowers yesterday, but I did manage to catch this tiny fly, enjoying what must seem like an enormous buttercup, in a field of hundreds more. More food than it could eat in a thousand lifetimes. There are significant advantages to being small.
