I need to replace my chair, it's broken to the point where it's kind of hurting my back.
It appears there are three options for replacing a chair:
1) Get the Jarvfjallet from Ikea, which is a moderately good but not great choice for a decent price
2) Stalk around for an used Herman Miller or Steelcase, cry when you need to find any spare parts
3) Get a somewhat higher-end office chair from an office shop, cry when you see the pricetag, but maybe they're sufficiently better than the budget offering?? Or maybe I'd be better off buying a less-than-stellar chair and saving up for, say, a standing desk option??
I wanted to do some online research, but I can't find good advice on which option is the most sensible - most blogs seem to be SEO-optimized "buy our wares" articles...
Doesn't help that I'm kinda tall.
