Sadly, corporate label interference in Weta's creative vision - which I'm guessing led to Tokona's decision to quit - stands out like dogs balls. Eg, there's something forced about the performance of Time, a poppy ballad that doesn't fit their vibe, musically or lyrically. It sits uncomfortable alongside psychedelic tinged tracks like Calling on and Got The Ju, and feel-good Datsuns-esque rockers like Let It Go and Snapshot, where the band are obviously having more fun.
