saw someone saying that Godzilla Minus One was about "the cowardice of a kamikaze pilot nearly destroying Japan" and I really think it's a stretch to read it that way. I think the movie is definitely saying the guy was correct not to pointlessly throw his life away and that he's not a coward when it comes to standing up for something actually important (people, not fascism)
