My parents' house is made entirely from lamps. I leave a fully lit room and hit the light switch and it just gets imperceptibly brighter. Each lamp is controlled by a tiny switch somewhere between the bulb and a random point behind a nearby cupboard. Nobody can find them. It is never dark. I have been awake for four days, or maybe two hours. Time has no meaning in the lamp vortex
