Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't have gone into lockdown. That was totally necessary, as were mask laws. And not being able to go out was also mostly necessary. But all those other restrictions about what we could and couldn't buy were unnecessary and uncalled for. The rest of the world could still order takeaways, and when they did go to the shops, they could buy anything the shops sold. And ecommerce thrived elsewhere in the world: remember Animal Crossing? Everyone and their dog were buying switches and getting online. Not us.
It was totally ridiculous, how you couldn't even have a glass of wine at home with your family. :(
