There are always small things I would change in my work. If I didn't actively prevent myself from doing so, I would tinker with one story over and over again until I died and my bones turned to dust. That's just how it goes.
But what I *regret* is being born in an age of publishing cartels, marketing over content, and "AI" cheaters. I regret not living in a society that values creativity.
