If you're in bitcoin since 2012 then you know trust, dont verify. Now read those claims above back to yourself. Is it trust, or is it verifiable?
"In the early stages of the XRP Ledger's development, some data was not permanently retained because the ledger was undergoing testing and refinement"
Is this statement in any way believable? We're talking about the full chain of custody of the first 100 billion XRP. Does any of the github issues at the time match this explanation. Go check. (Hint: not they dont).
Now for the brightest of red flags. Would any software *ever* delete records? Would any coder ever do this? What does "readily available" mean? But dont take my word for it. Put your analytical cap on and see if you think the explanation holds up.
This is the story they foist on people to cover their tracks. But it has as many holes as swiss cheese. Verify, dont trust.
