Going to try and see the Perseid meteor shower tonight. I was going to wake up around 4 and catch it before sunrise, but I think I'll stay up and try to catch it between 1-2. I've tried in the past but have been disappointed. Need to drive at least 30 minutes West to get out of the lights of the big city. Supposed to be optimal viewing conditions around here tonight.
Wish me luck. I'll report back tomorrow.
