One additional piece of metadata I’d like to track for my film photos is the lens used. I know myself well enough to know that I will not log info in a notebook for each frame. I’d just like to know which lens I used. Here is my idea. When I mount a lens on a camera I will take an iPhone photo of the camera and lens combo. I will then add the frame number in the caption field for that photo. After importing the converted scans I will add a keyword tag for the lens used for each frame.
