There are thousands of keyboard/mouse combinations, and none of them make sense...But at least they don't hate their customers. As far as DAWs go, they're the least DRM'd by far.

Ableton has a beautiful, polished interface but the software and company are riddled with DRM AIDS.

I liked the screenshots for Reaper and Bitwig but never tried them.
