It's funny how people time and again come up with the idea of "neutral language" and "just the facts". It's a fools errand, or more like an oxymoron.
All facts and observations are theory laden.
Compressing information about things happening in the world and helping one to make sense of it, i.e. news reporting is a service, and there is one fundamental aspect to this service:
People are interested in *other* peoples' views on things happening in the world. A different perspective than theirs. This is the only way to get truly new information because they intuitively know that this new perspective is valuable:
It helps them correct their systematic errors and misconceptions. Without it, they cannot improve.
What you suggest here I believe is that you want to enforce your own perspective with the help of LLMs. I don't think this is a good idea based on the above. You would just create a negative feedback loop enhancing the errors in your thinking. Also, it would be uninteresting. AND it would still be biased, not neutral in any way.
0. There is nothing like neutral facts
1. Other's perspective is far more valuable than mimicking your own with an LLM, even if you think those people are utterly wrong and misguided
2. People are and always will be better at making sense and deliver insights than LLMs therefore it's more valuable and more interesting, regardless of agreement
