If you go with a standard setup, hot watch-only rpc wallet on a VPS and full wallet on a personal device,
eventually you will run into bitcoinops.org/en/topics/gap-…
There is no GAP LIMIT setting in any known Monero wallets at the moment.

To make your funds accessible, you will need to restore the wallet with CLI wallet from seed with
--subaddress-lookahead 2:20000
That, until gap setting appears in CLI.
