How effective, in terms of sustaining the life of the battery of a laptop which spends much of its time (when it is being used) plugged in, is using battery thresholds?
I set mine to charge when it drops below 60%, and stop charging when it reaches 80%.
But is it worth it? Part of me wonders if I'm better off just letting it charge to 100% and then sit there on charge...
Informed inputs genuinely welcome!
