Browsing through occult bookstores and the occult section in general bookstores, most of what I saw fits this category. A lot of occult books are just rewrites of earlier books. I can’t think of any genre of books where “public domain” turns back into “copyrighted” faster than here. There is a guy here in San Francisco I recently met who says he has loads of these books. He calls his collection the Whybrary.
