Nostr is a little less popular than Mastodon or Bluesky. If one googles social networks with anti-corporation philosophy it's inevitable to see Nostr put in the same sentence as Mastodon and Bluesky. Those two aren't perfect, so I decided to give Nostr a chance (which is not perfect either), and here I am. Out of all 3, Nostr seems to have the least fundamental problem since it's not the protocol design as far as I can tell, but the lack of audience variety. Yeah, Bitcoiners are everywhere here 😅 Some redditors even publish posts like "Non-Bitcoin accounts to follow on Nostr". Seems like it's not just me, many people would like to join.
