I've tried to get used to moded editors like #vim several times but never got anywhere with it. My brain just seems to reject the notion that there should be a difference between code navigation and editing. Also I have a horrible memory, I just can't remember more than maybe 4 or 5 key shortcuts.
How did other people get used to that? Maybe it's pure masochism...
