U see, your body has the ability to produce cholesterol about 3000 mg daily, which is what it does when u cut cholesterol out of your diet and in doing so, it means your blood cholesterol levels become higher because yoir blood stream is where the cholesterol gets released. If u eat cholesterol from healthy sources like eggs, bacon, and butter, it drives that level down but thats just because your body only covers the deficit if ur in one. So in conclusion its a stupid metric to measure and by forcibly driving it down your stoping the body from doing a natural process it needs to live especially if u cut it out of your diet and then use meds to decrease cholesterol production
