It's genuinely remarkable to me that the *entirety of github.com* has been down for several minutes and there's not a breath about it on the status page. Nothing! githubstatus.com says “all systems operational".
This is clearly not acceptable, and whoever's responsible for setting policy on updating the status page really needs to look at the site and realize this isn't how things should be.
