npub19y8xknr5twkrg2aeu6dyt9rhk5eg6punm4kl4q07pp0av8aa47esmvwxgj (npub19y8…wxgj) i was trying to for a bit. just following the existing activity pub server tutorials. i managed to send a few messages and follow my own account, but ran into trouble as i don't know about how to make complicated AP JSON-LD play with databases. i know nothing about databases, i thought that classes just magically mapped onto them, but uh no. unfortunately the CL activitypub library is really only designed as a client, so all the objects don't work out of the box with database stuff.

so i'm off CRUDding my way forwards, and learning how database references etc. work in this little cruddy sandpit.

using ningle, spinneret, cl-sbt (bootstrap), mito, mayb htmx. when it works it's nice. sure is different to programming clients/interfaces in ole emacs.
