1. increase the canvas as in an image editor?
2. scale the document (e.g. 40dpi to 80dpi) keeping everything the same
Apologies for my rather 'rasterized view' phrasing here, but trying to get the higher level felling of what this does (e.g. more space or more 'ruler'). Curious as to why the button would use a "Lock" icon. Depending on 1 or 2 above, I could see something like a grow or a scale type icon/menu item instead.
