Nostr is opening my eyes to the value and potential of digital currencies, with Bitcoin being particularly enlightening. I’ve come to realize that as an individual without children or immediate family to inherit my wealth, the last thing I want is for it to be left in the hands of a government!

With digital currencies, there’s the prospect that I can take all of it with me to my final resting place, eventually contributing the value I’ve accrued to the network when my coins are no longer in circulation.

Also realizing that the ultimate faith of Bitcoin is the disappearance of all of the coins over time!
