as a former teacher i spend a lot of time wondering if i had it better than the present gen
i was largely mishandled and mis-educated by sleazy Catholics until I got into a good but declining state college
kids now are largely mishandled and mis-educated by "charter schools" that serve corpo-political interests
kids who had it best in my lifetime were youngest millennials / elder zoomers who caught relative stability and some of the best public teachers from my & previous gen
