Nostr is too decentralized that's why it's so slow.
Frankly, I don't need or even want my notes to be decentralized and sent all over the world to multiple relays.
I want them centralized on my server, controlled by me and others can pull a copy of my notes & followers from my server using their client like Amethyst. That would be much faster while also keeping a copy of my notes on other severs in case my server goes down. So technically this way you would be pulling notes form centralized servers.
Decentralizing money was needed but decentralizing every single thing in this world is unnecessary. Some things are fine centralized.
Of course that system would only work for people who want to host their own notes & content.
I think this would be a better relay system then the current relay system. I don't like the current relay system.
The Amethyst and other clients is a genius system. I do like how they work.
Something is slowing down my phone and I can't pinpoint it. What's annoying me is sometimes during certain times of the day. Amethyst slows down big time and also slows down my phone, it might also be amber or citrine.
