They intend to invest more than ever in 2023, even after trimming the head count.
They spent $2billion buying Oculus in 2014.
In 10 years they will have spent $50 billion dollars on this product development, for comparison Apple spent $2.6 billion developing iPhone before it launched.
I find this really weird.
What happens if/when nostr vacuums up their users and kills their ad revenue? We all know what happens, but what’s strange is Meta has no reserves to really respond to any such threats.
