It’s a beautiful sunshiney day here today as it’s 0*C with pretty blue skies. The sun is so warm against my skin, the birds are singing their songs and you can hear water running as the snow melts. It’s too nice to be indoors so I find myself laying on the back deck lounger reading my book. I’ve taken a few minutes here and there to close my eyes and really take the moment in. For a second it feels like I’m enjoying a beautiful day in the forest during the summer next to a creek… until I hear the shovels against the pavement shovelling slushy melting snow. 🙃
