Brother, I'm still not convinced that the forgiveness God requires is unwarranted forgiveness regardless of if repentance or ceasing of hostility has happened or not.
That being said, if I was ever murdered, I would like for my last words to the murderer would be "I preemptively forgive you for murdering me. Please accept Jesus."
