I've maintained multiple worm bins--usually larger ones, like 4'x3'x2' or larger--and have just left them outside all year, including being buried in the snow for months at a time. The worms managed through the cold months just fine. I suspect they were able to find a warm enough place to hang out because the bin was larger.",
