Okay, I'll say it: hosting resource-efficient services should not require you to pay for a closed-source "pro" product. Yes, I'm talking to you, nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqv7j7dtmgl6a3mhh3mhltcvlpzah8j9kh8scj7759t96mclrld44s9k2mmz (nprofile…2mmz) and nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqzxn5thzmj2252w9dfyw3n5vcgjrajawp5uvpss3v3wk9m20q6zas9v0n4t (nprofile…0n4t).

My single-user Synapse deployment is using half a gig of memory. To many who try to self-host everything they need on a 2GiB RAM VM, this is already a complete non-starter.
You're wasting a crap-ton of resources, you're hindering adopting, and hindering real decentralization.
I expected better from you.
