A few weeks ago, the Fediverse started talking about how #Windows11 was forcing perfectly capable computers to become eWaste. I wrote an article about that in case folks wanted a relatively simple explanation about that. It ended up being a lot longer than I planned.

And then my advice had to change a bit because of the outcome of the election. So. It's a little late but the gist is, if you live in the U.S. and you can afford to do so, you should buy a new computer before the inauguration.
