Just because you couldn't make it work, doesn't mean others cant. Bitcoin isn't for everyone, but it's for anyone.
Also, I don't think the government is going to buy Bitcoin, they aren't going to adopt tech that reduces their power. They are going to make using it difficult/ on and off ramps harder using their favourite tools, taxes and kyc. But we knew that for a long time.
