Deirdre was not happy with her husband’s choice of download chassis. Sure, it was better than the alternative of, well, death. But to have to wake up every day to that? It was going to take some getting used to.
She was not looking forward to their neighbour’s reactions. The 6-year old next door was very likely going to have nightmares for a while. The dog is not going to be happy at all.
