I had a miserable summer ride on my moto many years ago, from San Jose to San Diego via I-5 and it was gross hot. Leather jacket, long pants (jeans) & helmet didn't help. Not to mention that my bike's center stand sank into the hot asphalt when I stopped. I couldn't use the side stand because it would sink much faster and the bike would tip over.
