Was playing chess and this guy had me in forced checkmate. Rather than playing the move and mating me, he decided to talk shit in the chat. I’m not a perfect person and have done the same thing before, so I decided to channel my inner nostr and just be positive. Just aggressively nice and complimentary. We got to talking and he is from turkey and is hotelier, whatever that means. By the end he was saying thanks bro and have a nice day and let’s connect on Instagram (I don’t have). This is a small little dumb example but nostr has really taught me the power of positivity, maybe I improved somebody’s day all the way across the world.
