Well I joined mastodonapp.uk back in Nov 2022, but never bothered putting up an intro post, so I'll try and see if I can work that out now!
Oldish bloke, just got to retirement age, but not yet minded to retire as I love what I do. Old-school programmer, cutting code for over 45 years in many many languages - for the past 12yrs writing in Perl to maintain an ancient legacy codebase.
Politically v left of centre, and v intolerant of racists, Nazis, and homophobic half-wits.
