Using the principles discussed in class, proceed to book the studio and make a recording of a song of minimum 1:00 duration that contains the following elements :
1) Drums - YOU MUST USE THE GLYN JOHNS TECHNIQUE!
2) Bass
3) Acoustic Guitar
4) Electric Guitar
5) Vocals
The song can be of any genere as long as It fulfils the requisites expressed above.
You must submit
1) MP3 with the unmixed technical balance of your recording
2) Multitrack (not ableton project, but MULTITRACK) of all the components of your song in wav format.
PART II
Please submit a MAXIMUM 1000 word small essay explaining your rationale, considerations, techniques and particularities of each one of the elements you recorded. The essay must be supported with photos for each one of the elements.
PLEASE NOTE ::
You can record a live band if you want... or you can also do this in different days / recording sessions... Day 01 drums, day 02 guitar, day 03 vox... Etc... It really doesn't matter if its all performed live or not
