A Tractor Supply employee stopped me in the parking lot, as I carried a compressed cube of pine shavings on my shoulder. Gesturing to my EV, he informed me that he had a Camaro at home, endowed with tremendous powers by virtue of a laundry list of features (I heard “liters” and “nitrous”), and that as a result, he could “smoke me.”
I laughed affably and said “OK,” but he gave me a sober stare and said, again, “I would *smoke* you.”
