I am trying to give #ProTools and the other allegedly "professional" solutions (the big VSTs, etc.) a fair shake but the whole DRM regime (e.g. #iLok) leaves me with a very poor taste in my mouth.
I need to at least be familiar and comfortable with them, but I'm not investing a great deal in anything that won't run in #Reaper on #Debian.
