Thanks to a recommendation from clairevp (nprofile…z808) I watched the new Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. 8 eps that cover the first book. Really enjoyed the show. The kids are great, the scene between Percy’s mom and dad in the bar is so special, and the sets/environments are fun - especially like how they represented Hades’ realm.

I had read the book (a looooong time ago), so knew some of the twists, but didn’t remember all of them.

I wish they had a different ending theme (too much like the Marvel Avengers music), but adore the graphic design in the credits.
