YES
Even though I understand the fleeting nature of material things, I still sometimes fall into the trap of buying stuff—believing it will bring me some kind of fulfillment.
More often than not, the excitement fades quickly, sometimes even the same day, and I realize that the thing I thought would make me happy was just another purchase.
I usually buy things with a clear purpose or good value in mind, but I still find myself questioning—did I really need that?
So, I’m working on shifting my mindset—learning to appreciate what I already have and being more intentional in deciding if I truly want something.
I actually put this into practice the other week. I was about to buy a Bitcoin clock for around 95k Sats, thinking it would add value to my life. But then I paused and told myself, “Yogi, you don’t need this. Just check your phone for the price and updates—you’ll be just as satisfied.” And just like that, I let it go. I haven’t thought about buying it since, and I feel completely content.
