That’s exactly what pushed me to take all my money and invest in bitcoin. After two years of job at my current employer I’ve heard that I will get 10% raise. Cumulative inflation in Poland was at that time ~30%… devastating. I was making less than when I joined the company. I was despaired and BTC shined a light on my misery. It was hope in a dark alley.
