I should elaborate more.
By me hosting the smaller show art sizes on my server it makes it less expensive for podcast apps to process my feed.
They would not have to expend compute resources resizing my images nor would they have to waste storage with caching.
They can just serve the appropriately sized image directly from my server.
If they want to cache then they can skip the resize step.
