Mastodon v4.2.8 release https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.2.8 suggests: turning registration to manual approval, blocking temporary email providers (in particular any.pink associated with the current spam wave) and enabling hCaptcha.

So, any.pink MX was blocked on Masto.host servers. This should not affect any real users as this MX is only for temporary emails, but you can revert this in Moderation->Blocked e-mail domains (the mx.fed.plus is the any.pink MX).
