I come from a place of not believing companies are inherently bad. There's a bit of socialist thinking on nostr anytime companies come up but all a company boils down to is a group of people that are solving a problem or trying to add value to people's lives. They've lost some of that with the financialization of everything.
Bitcoin first really made it's way into company balance sheets in the last cycle. It was laughed at... now it will give companies like rumble super powers. Even if they do nothing else it will catapult them relative to their competitors. If there is one thing companies and tradfi do... is copy competitors.
It was balance sheets and stocks first, now it is bonds and stock indexes, it's even starting to draw interest from credit creation. This will definancialize real estate, stock prices, etc as more capital looks for btc. I give it two cycles but I would guess no btc plan means your company dies.
- copying competitors
- btc growing in price
- further adoption by those that started
will all snowball into btc eating tradfi and definancilization of everything. I find this process fascinating. I'm in a company that has not adopted a btc standard and no one is talking about it yet. I see other companies moving much faster and they're going to beat us.
