I didn't make the pie, im just the superintendent. County commissioners judged this portion & the "prettier" looking pie had cream cheese on the base. The winner had the best flavor. She submitted it last night and was bummed bcuz she got into a car accident on the way to the fair and the filling spilled out. We cleaned it up & everyone kept saying it wouldnt even place. She cries when she won and kept saying she'd never won anything before. 👽🥰
Lesson, don't put cream cheese in pie.
