Survived my work shift, amazingly. I knew the big boss was there when I walked in because the first staff I saw had a look that screamed "walking on eggshells."

I used to like my boss' direct approach & saying what she expects rather than being vague. She's just so bloody LOUD, especially with reprimands. We get awkward looks from customers sometimes b/c anyone can hear her. She made my fave newbie upset & it worried me. But as the lunch rush wound down, tension eased, too, & we were all okay.
