The Sutherland Shire (Cronulla) is God’s Country to the worst people imaginable. The Nothern Beaches (Manly to Palm Beach) hate anyone that hasn’t lived there since Federation. The Inner West (Newtown, The assorted “sham”s, (tr)Ashfield would be nice but a lot of punishers of the performative “look how edgy and individual I am” variety.
The west is just swathes of featureless suburbia until you reach the Blue Mountains, which is nice but…touristy(?).
Really, Sydney is great but ruined by the people that live in it.
