Roger Hallam co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, as well as other similar organizations in defense of a livable habitat, has been sentenced to five years imprisonment by a U.K. court , reports TT, which also reports that The Telegraph noted it is believed to be the longest prison sentence ever for non-violent protests in Great Britain.
