No mention of the Fediverse (and one mention of Bluesky) sadly, but still I am very happy to read a "not ceding control of what your brain consumes to a trillion dollar ad company is a good thing, actually" take in the NYT. Just two years ago it was pretty unthinkable that a mainstream publication would advocate this (have they been listening to me???).
