Yeah, but Bilderberg isn't really a power center either, the power is in the people and families who may or may not be in attendance.
Events like Bilderberg or Davos are opportunities for representatives of power families to get together, chum it up, and find some kind of common ground which MIGHT lead to them working together.
"Might" => because they don't generally trust each other that much.
